HealthWorks Acquires Forensic Claims Solutions to Expand Payer Performance Studio
HealthWorks today announced the acquisition of Forensic Claims Solutions, expanding the capabilities of the HealthWorks Payer Performance Studio with new technology and leadership. Forensic brings its proprietary Sleuth© platform and a library of advanced data mining algorithms that simplify complex contract compliance audits, identify inappropriate payments with precision, and provide payers with predictive, defensible insights. Co-founders Mike McGauley and Craig Mills will join HealthWorks as Executive Vice President of Data Mining Operations and Executive Vice President of Data Mining Technology, respectively. Together, this integration strengthens HealthWorks’ ability to help payers reduce medical spend, strengthen compliance, and embed accuracy into every step of the payment process.
